VettedMover

Best long distance moving companies, scored on public FMCSA data

We score interstate-licensed household-goods movers state by state with the VettedMover score: our own 0–100 score from FMCSA safety records, complaint counts and years in business. You choose who to contact. It is not an endorsement or guarantee.

We email you the scored mover list for your origin and destination states. Privacy: we use your email only to send this list (sent through our email provider, Resend). We never sell your details or share them with any mover. Requests are deleted after 30 days. See our privacy policy.

How the VettedMover score works

The score is VettedMover's own 0–100 calculation from public government data. It is not an FMCSA rating, an endorsement or a guarantee. No mover pays to be listed or ranked.

Movers with fewer than 3 vehicle or fewer than 3 driver inspections in 24 months, or with no result in FMCSA's complaint search, are shown as limited data and not placed in a tier. Missing complaint data is never treated as zero complaints; that part is left out and the score is rescaled. Within a tier, more inspections come first, then more years active.
